MINIMUM WEEKLY EARNINGS (MWEs)
To better ensure that driver-partner are being fairly rewarded for their hard work, Gojek's MWEs works as a top-up if your nett fares do not meet the minimum weekly earnings. This means you will earn the stated minimum amount as long as you complete the targeted number of trips and achieve a minimum of 80% in weekly performance average. Gojek will credit your Earnings Wallet with the difference.
Subjected to a deduction of 20% service fee
HOW MWE TOP-UPS ARE CALCULATED
(MWEs - 20% service fee) - weekly nett fares - points payout - any incentives earned from flash incentives
= top-up amount
Mr Teo drives with Gojek and he has completed 50 trips in a week with an average of 80% in performance.
As such Mr Teo is qualified for MWEs of $850. Hence, he will receive the following MWE top-up:
$850 - [20% x $850] (service fee) - $447 (nett fares) - $120 (points payout) = $113
Mr Chan drives with Gojek and he has completed 181 trips earning $2,923 (nett fares + points payouts) with a weekly average of at least 80% in performance.
Even though Mr Chan qualifies for MWEs as his weekly earnings of $2,923 is below $3,425, there will be no top-ups. This is because his earnings of $2,923 is more than $2,596 ($3,425 - 20% of $3,425).
Gojek's points system ensures that driver-partners get rewarded for trips that require more effort.
e.g. trips from airport, hospital, during peak hours, and long distance trips of more than or equal to 15KM, and more.
Points accumulated can be used to redeem further earnings.
